This movie (c. 50 Mb) shows the evolution of the zonally-averaged temperature field through the Mars year, based on MGS-TES-derived atmospheric soundings. The upper panel displays zonally-averaged temperatures from pole-to-pole and from the surface to the 0.1 mb pressure surface. In future, plots from the MGCM will be added for comparison. |
